Shipping & returns
We charge delivery on a sliding scale of weight with prices starting from £1.50, £2.75 and £4.99. We use Royal Mail first class delivery (no tracking, no signature) for small, light items and DPD (with text alerts and timed delivery costs) for heavier items.
Royal Mail first class delivery for small, light items such as individual greetings card and bars of chocolate, starts from £1.50 and goes up to £2.75. Please note this service on small, light items is untracked without a code and does not require a signature.
DPD delivery on items such as candles, apothecary and beauty products, homeware, prints and curated gift boxes, is charged at a flat rate of £4.99. This includes a delivery time slot, text alerts and the option for you to rearrange delivery or choose a safe place.
As a small business which prides itself on creating a magical service, so that each item is wrapped and packaged with care, we are not in a position to offer free delivery but we do absorb whatever costs we can. We aim to dispatch all UK orders within two working days and your order should arrive within 3 days of dispatch if not sooner.
We cannot guarantee next day deliveries with either service. But if you need something urgently, email us in our log cabin at email@example.com and we'll see what we can do to help.
Once you place your order you will receive a confirmation email to let you know that we've received it. We will then send you another email to let you know your delivery is on its merry way.
We ship worldwide! We use Royal Mail delivery services, at a flat rate of £9.95. For international orders, we estimate your delivery should arrive between 5 and 10 days of dispatch.
We believe in creating beautiful orders which are a pleasure to unwrap and wherever possible, we wrap each item in quality recycled tissue paper and bakers twine. We also believe in being kind to the planet and recycle wherever possible. This means your external shipping parcel might have been reused before and might show signs of that - but what's inside is the real treasure. All our packaging is recyclable and we ask that you reuse or recycle your delivery materials.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Returns will be accepted within 14 days of dispatch. Our Story Time will provide a full refund, excluding postage. Items must be returned unopened with the original packaging intact. Please include a copy of your original invoice and obtain proof of postage (customers are responsible for return costs).
To make a return, you must contact the shop on firstname.lastname@example.org. Any items returned without contacting the shop first will be exempt from receiving a refund. Once you have received a confirmation email from us acknowledging your return and refund request, please return your order to 23a Priory Avenue, London, N8 7RP.
We do not accept returns on sale items and reserve the right to refuse a request for a refund if a product does not meet our "unopened and in original packaging" criteria.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. If your refund hasn't appeared in your account within 5 working days of receiving your refund confirmation, please contact your credit card company or bank
We do not offer exchanges yet. If you have received an item and wish to exchange for something else instead, you will have to initiate a return for the first order and then place a new order separately.
